Nida Rashid Dar is the current captain of the Pakistan women’s cricket team. She was born on January 8, 1987, in Gujranwala, one of the famous cities of the Punjab province in Pakistan. Her father, Rashid Hassan, is also a cricketer. Rashid Hassan has played first-class cricket at his age.
Education and Social Role
Nida Dar graduated from Govt. Post Graduate College for Women Model Town Gujranwala. She was very active in social activities and became vice president of Social Behaviour Development Organization of Pakistan.

Nida Dar is 5 feet and 7 inches tall. Nida is an all-rounder cricketer. She is famous as Lady Boom Boom, as we all know that our hero Shahid Afridi is known as ‘Boom ‘Boom”. She is a leg-spin bowler and a right-handed batsman.
She has started playing cricket against Pakistani Universities. Later, she joined Zarai Taraqiati Bank. She has also played domestic cricket for Sialkot City. She has played international first-class cricket by representing Sydney Thunderball.

According toESPN she got her debut on October 06, 2010, when she played a match against Ireland in the ICC Women’s Cricket Challenge. She did not bat in this match because, luckily, Pakistan has won with only three wickets down. However, she has bowled three overs and only given 11 runs.

She has played 105 ODI matches. She has bowled 104 times and batted in 92 innings. She has scored 1621 runs and obtained 98 wickets. Her highest score is 87 in the ODI.
