Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan is a Pakistani politician who is affiliated with the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and served in the Punjab Provincial Assembly from 2002 to 2007, again from May 2013 to May 2018, and again from August 2018 to January 2023.
Early Life and Family Background
Malik Muhammad Khan was born on November 29, 1971, in Kasur. His father, Malik Muhammad Ali Khan, held prominent positions as a Member of the Punjab Assembly from 1972 to 1977, a Senator from 1985 to 1994, and served as the Deputy Chairman of the Senate from 1986 to 1988.

He obtained a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) degree in 1998 from the University of Buckingham, marking a significant milestone in his academic journey.

In the 2002 Pakistani general election, he secured a seat in the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab representing Constituency PP-179 (Kasur-V) as a Pakistan Muslim League (Q) (PML-Q) candidate. With 21,728 votes to his name, he triumphed over the independent candidate, Naveed Hashim Rizvi.
Party Transition
In a significant move, he announced his affiliation with the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) (PML-N) in January 2012, marking a shift in his political allegiance.

In the 2013 Pakistani general election, he was re-elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from Constituency PP-179 (Kasur-V), representing PML-N. Securing a notable 45,012 votes, he defeated Malik Khurram Saleem, a candidate from the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
Maintaining his political stride, he secured another victory in the 2018 Pakistani general election, clinching a seat in the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a PML-N candidate from Constituency PP-176 (Kasur-III).
