Jamshed Akbar is identified as Junaid Jamshed’s father, and his mother goes by the name of Nafeesa Akbar. Junaid Jamshed had three wives. His first wife, Ayesha, gave birth to three sons and one daughter. While his second wife, hailing from Islamabad, and his third wife from Lahore, accompanied him on his last journey, they did not have any children with Junaid Jamshed.

Jamshed gained nationwide and international recognition as the vocalist of Vital Signs, a band that reshaped Pakistan’s rock music industry with their 1987 album, Vital Signs 1.
