Imran Aslam was a Pakistani journalist, scriptwriter, and media personality.
Imran Aslam was born in 1952 in Madras (now Chennai, India). In the 1970s, he attended the London School of Economics.
He previously worked for Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates. In the 1980s, he began his journalism career as the editor of the English-language publication The Star. He was the editor of The News, a Karachi English daily newspaper, in the 1990s.
He was appointed Group President of GEO Television Network, a part of the Jang Group of Newspapers, in 2015.
During his tenure as president, Geo Network launched Geo News channel, Geo Entertainment channel, Geo Super channel, Aag channel, Geo Kahani channel and Geo Tez channel.
Aslam was also the President of Geo TV Network from 2022.

Imran Aslam passed away on December 2, 2022, at the age of 70.
