She is married to Husain Haqqani, a well-known Pakistani diplomat and scholar and from this marriage they have 3 daughters and a son. Farah Naz Ispahani was born in Karachi, Pakistan and brought up in the province of Sindh in Pakistan. She got her early education from Karachi, Dhaka and London where she also had some family living there for decades. For professional education, she went to United States of America (USA) from where she graduated from Wellesley College in Massachusetts with majors in Political Science.Ispahani attended Wellesley College, where she likely honed her intellectual and academic skills, setting the stage for her future endeavors. After graduating, she spend quite a few years in professional career and worked with major broadcasting and media platforms which includes MSNBC, Voice of America (VOA), ABC news, and CNN. She worked with these media giants and assists the team in launching different new programs “Paula Zahn Now” a very famous program from CNN on Global political analysis. She also launched another very famous show”360” on current affairs mostly on politics and wars in the world, this show was later taken over by her fellow journalist and started to air as “Anderson Cooper 360”.
