The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is the highest degree in the world and in Pakistan. One of the five main specializations in pharmacy is pharmaceutics. A PhD in pharmaceutics is an exploration-heavy degree program that equips students for jobs in industry, academia, government, or research. Completing the curriculum normally takes three to seven years. It entails coursework for two semesters and a minimum of two years of research. After passing the comprehensive exam, students who are enrolled in research will work with a research supervisor to finish their project.

Eligibility Criteria
- MS/M.Phil. degree in the relevant discipline from a degree awarding institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP)
- At least 3.0 (on the scale of 4.0) CGPA in the MS/MPhil degree or 60% aggregate marks if the degree is earned from an annual system
- Qualify for University admission test with an Interview
Scope
