Scope
The M.Phil. The clinical Pharmacy Practice program is intended to enhance the clinical pharmacy skills of pharmacists working in all areas of the pharmacy profession. It would aid in providing practicing pharmacists with the necessary skills to advance to higher-level clinical responsibilities within healthcare institutions. It is particularly valuable for junior-level hospital pharmacists. It would also provide a form of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for pharmacists working in primary care or academia. To reiterate, a postgraduate program, or M. Phil., is typically required for higher-level positions. Similarly, community-based pharmacists are becoming more frequently asked to gain certifications beyond their initial degree in order to secure positions that require clinical experience. Larger chain retail pharmacies in urban areas, both in Pakistan and abroad, have begun to offer clinical services such as health screening, travel clinics, vaccination, anticoagulation, blood pressure monitoring, and medication use reviews. The course covers a wide range of clinical issues, equipping pharmacists for the more clinically focused roles needed in modern practice.
