Applied Physics is the application of all fields of physics to a wide range of real-world problems in engineering, science, and industry. This BS Applied Physics curriculum combines both the real and abstract components of physics. It allows students to develop skills for future technological advancements based on fundamental physics concepts. This also encourages the development of strong analytical and experimental abilities through its upper core programs. The instrumentation specialty includes instruction in the design and use of scientific instruments.
BS Physics, a four-year degree program, not only teaches students to scientifically understand and analyze natural behavior, but it also introduces them to a variety of interdisciplinary subjects such as physics with design studies, electro technology, systems and control engineering, energy and environmental studies, the physics of life, and nanotechnology.
