It is a two-year associate bachelor’s degree program designed to act as a bridge to a master’s degree in Urdu literature and language. It teaches fundamental linguistics concepts and how to evaluate literature. The ADP improves students’ critical thinking skills throughout four semesters by requiring them to analyze literature in a variety of circumstances. It includes works from well-known writers and poets from various literary genres. Admission requires HSSC or similar schooling with at least a second division. The O-level student may be required to provide an equivalency certificate. All universities may not provide this degree; consequently, it is recommended that you look into the disciplines offered by local universities.

Scope
The associate degree program is a two-year curriculum that provides a comprehensive understanding of Urdu literature and language in a short amount of time. This gives sufficient information about the evolution and development of the Urdu language. It improves the grammar skills of the language, preparing degree holders to teach it. Urdu can be taught effectively in primary, elementary, and high schools. Degree holders have numerous options in the faculty of both public and private institutions. Aside from teaching, degree graduates can pursue writing and editing employment, however they may remain at the junior level. The publication houses also offer good opportunities for degree graduates to work as editors and junior editors. Many Urdu publications and magazines provide several chances for authors and editors. This degree can be applied to a Master’s degree in Urdu literature and language, completing 16 years of schooling for higher studies.
