Akhuwat Loan is a charitable trust that was established in 2001 in accordance with the Islamic principle of Mawakhat, which means solidarity. Its mission is to offer interest-free loans to the underprivileged, or those who are in need or who possess property. You can apply for this loan if you intend to launch a small business. This loan is an interest-free Islamic one. You may accept this interest-free loan.

Online Akhuwat Loan Application:

The online registration for the Akhuwat Loan Scheme 2023 has been made available. If you wish to apply, this portal will provide you with complete guidance.

Go to the official website of the Akhuwat Foundation if you want to register online, download the form, and submit an extensive application stating why you want the loan and describing it in depth so that it’s easy to understand. And submit this application to the nearby office of the Akhuwat Foundation. Once your application gets reviewed, you will get details. After this, all the documents needed for the approval of the loan will also be reviewed.

Eligibility criteria for the Akhuwat Loan

  • The applicant’s head identity card is required.
  • The applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 62 and shouldn’t currently be operating a business.
  • The application must be actively involved in the economy.
  • The candidate shouldn’t have a history of criminal conduct.
  • Candidates must have solid social standing and character.
  • At any time, the candidate must present a minimum of two references from family members and high-ranking government officials.

Important documents for the application:

  • Front-back copy of CNIC
  • It is necessary to have two guarantor’s CNIC copies.
  • If there are external guarantors available, they must have a CNIC.
  • If there are not sufficient external guarantors, then any family member’s CNIC is required. 

Important Points about the Akhuwat Loan Process

  • Firstly, you must apply in order to begin the Akhuwat Loan Scheme procedure. The application fee varies.
  • For the submission of the loan application, the applicant will gather all necessary documents and send them to the closest AIM branch.
  • If the application satisfies the requirements for the Direct Loan Scheme 2023, the programme manager will analyze the submitted documentation and approve it.
  • The authorized application form must be filled out, and their staff can help you fill out the form or provide any other assistance regarding the loan scheme.
  • The manager will review each document once more before starting the application process.
  • Within three to four weeks, the loan will be granted.
  • Loans are issued at an event that generally takes place in the mosque.
