Political science is a social science area that studies the philosophy and practice of all aspects of politics. Political science is the study of a country or organization’s political behaviors, institutions, and structures. It is a very broad field that includes the study of historical and contemporary systems, governmental policies and procedures, foreign policy, public administration, international relations, and public affairs. In other words, it is a social science that studies political systems and the underlying ideas that control the world of politics.
A master’s degree in political science is a two-year curriculum that provides a deeper understanding of the subject. The master’s program in political science covers various forms of democracy, the concept of nationhood, executive and judicial authorities and functions, the evolution of the Constitution, political philosophy and theories, foreign policy, and current international relations issues.

Scope
Students who study political science are known as political scientists. They enjoy a wide range of career opportunities in both the public and private sectors of the country. Political scientists solve national and global problems by employing both humanistic and scientific methods, as well as a variety of approaches, to investigate the processes, systems, and political dynamics of all countries and regions across the world. Political scientists investigate political behavior, decision-making procedures, organizational structures, and public policy. They can conduct research on a wide range of topics, such as the political situation in various nations, notable cities and towns, major court verdicts on political issues, and Pakistan’s connection with other countries. They look at the structure and operation of government, as well as election results and public opinion polls on issues related to politics. Graduates with political science abilities are also better suited to lead in other environments where knowing the political background and sources of laws and legal institutions is critical. Aside from politics, master’s students can find employment in banks, consultancies, law firms, social research organizations, embassies, colleges, and institutes, among other locations.
