The Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication Design is a HEC-accredited four-year degree program that educates students to comprehend and provide innovative solutions to current visual communication challenges. Students in the Visual Communication Design program will also learn how to understand and arrange communication strategies in order to develop effective imagery and products. Because the program is developed over four years, it teaches a fundamental understanding of design thinking while taking a transdisciplinary approach to dealing with the difficulties of an ever-changing economy. Studio work is supplemented with strong liberal arts components under the premise that designers should be grounded in a broad body of knowledge that includes method, execution, form, and content, all within the context of user demands.
A visual communication designer’s responsibilities include designing product labels, logos that symbolize organizations or companies (branding), promotional packages and program campaigns, as well as developing mass media advertising. Visual communication designers have a wide range of options worldwide. Students who earn a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design can work in a variety of fields, including architecture, ceramics, fashion, industrial design, interior decoration, leather works, jewelry, knitwear, multimedia designs, textile industry, website development, social media marketing, video games, and graphic design.
